Paws & Play Doggy Daycare was founded by Jamie Dewitz, a devoted mother, wife, and animal lover with a passion for creating a safe and fun environment for dogs. Jamie’s journey to starting a dog daycare in Waterloo, Iowa, began with her own experience as a busy mom of four children and a household full of pets. As a family with two cats and a lively miniature dachshund puppy, she understood the challenges of finding reliable and caring places for pets when life gets hectic. Jamie wanted to create a space where dog owners could trust their pets would be well cared for while they were away, and where dogs could enjoy socializing and playing in a safe, enriching environment.
